This did not make the other administrators happy, so the set out to find something they could charge him with. But Daniel was great at his position and they could find no fault.

Soon a plan hatched from the satraps and administrators and they went to King Darius with it. “No one was to pray to God except the King for 30 days- or they get thrown into the Lion’s Den”. The satraps and administrators told the king they did this to honor him. But they knew Daniel prayed threDaniel and the Lion's Dene times a day. The king did not see the trick and signed a decree to the kingdom.

After Daniel heard of the decree and went to his room to pray as he always did and the satraps and administrators found Daniel praying. The men went to the king and told them someone was praying and they asked the king what should happen to the person. The king had to follow his decree and when he found out it was Daniel the king was very upset.

HereDaniel and the Lion's Den is a hint:

 “I issue a decree that in every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel.

“For he is the living God
and he endures forever;
his kingdom will not be destroyed,
his dominion will never end.
 He rescues and he saves;
he performs signs and wonders
in the heavens and on the earth.
He has rescued Daniel
from the power of the lions.”
